Mahavira's Scripture Of Health: [03.11] Emotion And Health - Aura And Purification Of Bhava

Published: 01.04.2007
Updated: 06.08.2008

With the purification of the bhava, one's leshya becomes pure. The aura of the body changes. Concentration on this aura is widely practised during preksha dhyana. Our colours are associated with our breathing. While breathing, we are not aware of the colour we are breathing in. Our breath is sometimes black in colour, and sometimes blue, sometimes green and sometimes yellow and sometimes white.

Our breath has all the colours. Our breath is also sometimes sour and sometimes sweet and sometimes even pungent. All the tastes existing outside are also to be found in our breath. Sometimes, our breath has fragrance and sometimes bad smell. Sometimes our breath has a soft touch and sometimes it is hard. All these things are connected with our breath.

The aura of the body is related to all these pudgalas (particles of matter). Let us see on the basis of all these how the breathing was done. Let us go deeper into this question and analyse it. How would the breath be on Sunday? We absorb the cosmic rays of the sun on Sunday and absorb the cosmic planets and emotions. According the astrology, the planets exercise their influence. However, they do not influence us directly but the radiation emanating from them influences our bhavas. The bhava influences the mind and the body and the question of being healthy and unhealthy arises. Many other kinds of problems also arise.
