Sadhvi Kesarji and her group was proceeding towards Mandi from Mansamandi along with a women devotee and the Kasida. After covering about 3 km the woman suddenly felt severe pain in her knees and could not walk even a step further. The nuns had to face the problem; they could neither leave the lady alone nor leave the Kasida there because the area was unknown to them. Kasida went ahead and found out that there was a place where they could have a halt. He requested the nuns to stay there.

There were huts as well as houses in that village. The nuns got a public room to stay where the local people kept vesting the whole day. In the afternoon, the villagers and the Kasida were listening to the devotional songs sung by the nuns. Just then a few boys came there and were planning to kidnap the youngest nun. The Kasida came to know about their plan and he informed the nuns about it. The nuns stopped their singing and the people returned home.

It was 8 p.m. The Kasida was alert. 'He said to the nuns, “According to the rules and regulations, no male can stay in your room during the night. These boys seem to have an evil intention, so I will close the door and sit outside and you sit inside the room.” The nuns were afraid, but they kept their heads cool. The nuns said, “We have full faith in Swamiji. Nobody can harm us. We shall do the Japa of Swamiji and face everything with courage. We are not afraid of death.”

The Kasida’s name was Ganpatsingh Rajput. He was fully devoted to the monks and nuns. He was prepared for any sacrifice in the cause of his duty to protect the nuns. He said courageously, “You need not worry about anything. If they break the door, I will die first.”

At that moment, they heard a voice, “Open the door. We have come to listen to the nuns.” Nobody replied as they continued their Japa. The boys tried to frighten them. They threw stones and tried to break the door. They were speaking rubbish. This continued for about five hours, but the nuns did not lose their patience. They were deeply engrossed in the Japa. For one moment it seemed that the door would break as the boys had lost their patience. They were upset on their failure. The nuns were thinking what would happen if the door gave away.

Sadhvi Kesarji said, “Don’t worry. We shall face them courageously. We are even prepared to die if the situation is not under control.” But the blessings of Swamiji Worked a miracle as the boys went back. The nuns felt relieved and safe.
