All then went on very fast. Suddenly I was in the car, and we were on the road. Did I really give a German language course at the outskirts of desert Thar? In Sujangarh, 15 km from Ladnun, we stopped in front of a garage. I remembered that our friend Shri Balwant Mehta insisted in knowing number of the car, name, and mobile number of the driver. Perhaps incidents like this were in his mind. But 15 minutes...

29.10.2007 Friday evening before the weekend trip, there was suddenly a knock at my door. A breathless messenger stammered, “Madame Vice-Chancellor calls you at her home - now.” He gave me sign to follow him and headed towards VC’s home. I knew that he did not speak one word of English language and asked myself how he had managed this difficult task. He was assistant to the VC’s personal assistant, and...

25.10.2007 Pooja Sharma and Karuna Jain Meanwhile I am back from India, and there are nearly two months between my visit to Pooja Sharma and the present day. On 19th October 2007, I got the opportunity to interview JVB University Vice-Chancellor Dr. Samani Mangal Pragya on her experiences during the one year of being in this function. I wanted to know how she judges her work and where it is focussed on. Most of all, she is very happy that H.H. Acharya Mahaprajna has given such a responsibility to her. She is aware of the fact that in this function, some kind of...

Admitted, I was a little nervous when I went towards JVBI campus from Sumit Guesthouse at 13:40. On my way, I met some students asking me my way as they were on their way to take lunch, and start of the course would be at 14:00 only. I told them not to worry and went to the course room. The blackboard looked like that one I had in my classroom in my first year of Primary School in Berlin 1954, and which then...

29.10.2007: Berlin Departure Leaving home early in the morning seems to be one of the predicaments of being on the way to India. Like last year, our cat guest watched my departure while he was sitting under the neighbour’s car. It seemed the cat knew that this time only one of us would leave for a longer trip. Nevertheless, I happily arrived in Delhi, all went well, wake-up service, starting to Airport, even...
