Study Of "Yoga Vinshika" Followed By Study Of "Yoga Drushti Sammuchaya".

We are blessed by our present day Sashan Nayak, our last Tirthankar, Shri Mahavirswami, as he expounded the philosophy showing us the passage to ultimate liberation 'Moksha". Gandhar Bhagwants with their supreme ability prepared 12 canons, "Dwadvasangi" and gave us the Sutras for our benefits.

Subsequently many great Acharyas with their deep understanding gained from the Acharya Parampara, and their actual experience created literature that we can understand and practice.

One of the brightest star among these Acharya is Haribhadrasuriji Maharaj. Among his vast literary creation his Yoga commentary in four books are used widely even today by Sadhu Mahatmas for it's deeper meaningful explanation and practical use. Jain Yoga means Atma’s union with self.

On this Tuesday, October 15, 2019, at 8:30 PM in Aradhana Hall, we have started the study of " Yoga Vinshika" and follow up with "Yoga Drushti Sammuchaya". We are most fortunate to have these highest caliber Shatras available to us. Acharya Bhagvant Param Pujya Shree Yashovijayji Maharaj has blessed us to commence this study. Pandit Dhirajlal Mehta thankfully made our task even simpler by giving us these invaluable granths in our mother tounge Gujarati.

Together, we will make our best faith effort to understand and practice the knowledge available in these invaluable Yog shastras to help continue our journey to Moksh.

N:B: We need your copies of Yogvinshika and Yog Drashti Samucchay. If you are not using it and have Shubh Bhavana to share, please bring the copies to Aradhana hall.

Kartiki Poonam & Pat Darshan Program - Nov 11, 2019 (Actual) & Nov 17, 2019 (Observed)

Kartiki Punam night is considered as the brightest full moon night in the whole year as the rainy season is supposed to end and night sky is all clear. This is the day to resolve to free oneself of basic instincts.
