September 04, 2016 Meeting: A General Body Meeting was held on Sunday, September 04, 2016 starting at 2:00 pm. The President, Virendra Shah welcomed everyone and officially started the General Body meeting. He announced the Nomination and the Election committees approved by EC as follows: Nomination Committee: Vipin Vadecha– Chair Person, Prerana Udani & Dharmesh Shah-Members. Election Committee: Komal Desai– Chair Person, Jayana Shah and Surekha Jain– Members The Treasurer, Geetaben Khona presented the Financial Report as of December 31, 2015 approved by the auditors. After a lot of discussions of the details, the financial report was approved by the General Body unanimously. The Chairman of the Religious Committee, Dr. Mahendra Shah gave highlights of the upcoming religious events and dignitary visits. JAINA Zone VP, Mahesh Wadher also provided a report of the JAINA. activities Various other committees also gave an update of their activities including Fund Raising and upcoming JAINA convention in 2017. The President Virendra Shah wrapped up the meeting around 3:00 pm with a Vote of Thanks to all participants and volunteers.
