Each hair-tip (referred to in the above definition) is cut into innumerable pieces and the cylindrical pit is made cram-full with these hair-pieces. Every hair-piece is innumerableth fraction of the subtlest part visible by naked eyes. Every samaya, one such piece is removed from the pit. The total period of time that elapses for emptying it completely is called sukṣma uddhāra palyopama = {(3.3 x 1036) x innumerable} samayas
