The Enigma Of The Universe : Hans Reichenbach

Published: 31.08.2014

Hans Reichenbach, who is a well-known mathematician as well as philosopher, expressing his view on the purpose of the scientific philosophy, has observed that the noblest aim of the scientific philosophy is the establishment of the concept of objective truth as the ultimate criterion of all philosophical knowledge.[1] Reichenbach has established the existence of the objective reality on the basis of mathematical considerations of the new scientific concepts of space and time.[2] His views on the reality of space and time shall be further discussed in the 'Section B' of this chapter.
