TPF Raipur’s Programme on "Time and Stress Management"

TPF, Raipur Branch has successfully organized a Self Empowerment Programme on the theme of “Time and Stress Management in Professional Life” on 19–02–2011 at CBDA Conference Hall, VIP Road Raipur at 3.00 PM. The honored guest speakers of the programme were Dr. Chandan Agrawal, a Homeopathy Consultant & National Trainer and Mr. Nikhil Agrawal, a Regional trainer of JCI, India.

The programme began with the welcome speech by Mr. Surendra Choraria, the President, TPF, Raipur Branch. Mr. Rupesh Jain, Secretary, TPF, Raipur Branch then welcomed the eminent guests by presenting them bouquets. There-after the dais is handed over to Mrs. Ritu Choraria, the Coordinator, TPF, Raipur Branch. She introduced the eminent faculties to the forum and requested the forum to introduce themselves. This small fellowship resulted in good bonding creation among the participants and the faculties.


Mr. Nikhil Agrawal dealt with the subject of “Time Management”. He emphasized on planning, alertness, priority fixing and reviews. “Do at once” is the key to time management. He also advised listing of the works in the following manner:

This listing will help us in deciding our priorities and better time management for our day to day work.

Next one was about Stress, Its Outcome and Management thereof. Dr. Chandan Agrawal handled this subject with so much ease and explained the major causes of Stress in one’s professional life. Unbalanced Life style, work pressure, time management and the rat race are the major causes of stress in professional life. In his words when one finds himself/herself unable to handle the situation given for the time, he/she feels pressure or stress.

The outcomes of this stress usually observed over the professional life are diseases like Blood Pressure and Sugar. To overcome the stress he emphasizes on planned life style, optimisms, effective time management and self satisfaction. Yoga and Meditation plays an important role in controlling our anger, stress and imbalances caused due to pressure.

The session was then opened for open discussion. A good and active participation from all the presents had been observed. The participants also added their valuable thoughts and suggestions and also accentuated on holding such meetings at regular intervals.

Mrs. Ritu Choraria, then summarized the whole discussion in a lucid manner. At the end the faculties had been felicitated by presenting Mementoes. Ms Preksha Sethia and Mr. Sumit Nahata two young professional took the privilege of honoring the eminent faculties.

Mr. Jayant Bhura, Secretary TPF, Raipur Branch concluded the meeting with vote of thanks. The meeting was followed by high tea to facilitate fellowship among the members.
