His Holiness Acharya Mahashraman preached in today's Prime Sermon that, Samayika is an Industriousness of Samvar (the factor which stops Karma to bond with soul). Paushadh is also an Industriousness of Samvar. Other Pratyakhyan like eleven or twelve Vrata (vows) by the Shravak after acceptance of Samyaktva (right faith in the path of Dharm) results Samyaktva Samvar and also Desh Virati (The state in which non-restraint (avirati) is partially overcome) Samvar. As Shravak cannot avail complete Samvar but an ascetic avails complete Samvar. An ascetic disowns the Savadya Yoga (activities of attempting sin) completely with three Karan (action) and three Yoga (activity) for the whole life. Thus an ascetic avails complete Samvar but a Shravak cannot, because he is little free and has not disowned all the Savadya Yoga. So he avails Samvar as much as he disowns Savadya Yoga.
