Sadhvisri Sangeet Shree Ji and fellow Sadhvis - Sadhvi Kamal Vibha Ji, Sadhvi Shanti Prabha (Ladnun),Sadhvi Mudita Shree Ji reached Kolkata on 4th April, 2017 after completing a successful Chaturmas at Raipur in Chhattisgarh State in the year 2016. The first stay of Sadhvisriji at Kolkata was at Terapanth Mahasabha Bhawan at Portuguese church Street, Kolkata- 700 001.

Sadhvishriji and fellow shadhvis were present in south Howrah Sabha Bhawan. In the morning discourse, which completed at 10.15 A.M., Sadhvishriji and fellow sadhvis guided the lay followers to be more active and energetic for the forthcoming chaturmas of Acharyashree at Kolkata. Chaturmas of Terapanth Acharya is happening at Kolkata after a long period of 59 years. Last time it was in the year 1959 A.D. when Chaturmas of Acharya Shri Tulsi was held at Mahasabha Bhawan, Kolkata.

At about 10.30, sadhvivrind left South Howrah Sabha Bhawan for Kolkata via G. T. Road (South), flyover, and Howrah Bridge, M. G. Road, Pagayapatti, Brabourne road with a procession of lay followers including Mahila Mandal members. At the beginning of Howrah Bridge, which happens to be the entrance gate for Kolkata, sadhvishriji recited namaskar Mahamantra and began the onward Journey. There Sri Sushil Jain Choraria (former Secretary of S. J. S. T. SABHA, Kolkata) Welcomed Sadhviseiji on the gateway to Kolkata. In the midway to the Bridge Sadhvishri was welcomed by the Kolkata sabha President Sri Tejkaran Bothra and other office bearers. At M. G. Road, many other lay followers from Kolkata Joined the procession. There Sadhvi Guptiprabha ji and fellow sadhvis, who had reached Mahasabha Bhawan in the morning came with water and great warmth and welcomed Sadhvi Sangeetshree ji and fellow sadhvis by lifting their belongings from shoulders as is the normal practice of welcoming the guest saints and nuns in Terapanth. The procession of eight Sadhvis and hundreds of Lay followers reached Mahasabha bhawan. The scene of spiritual coming together of both the groups of Sadhvis was a warm picture where both the groups praised each other by way of chanting verse and Geetika. Hundreds of lay followers from Howrah and Kolkata were really happy to witness the occasion.

Expressed their spiritual pleasure on meeting Sadhvi Guptiprabha ji and their group after a long gap of about 9 months after their last meeting in Chhattisgarh. Sadhvi Kusum Lata ji, Sadhvi Maulik Yasha ji and Sadhvi Bhavit Yasha ji also chanted the Geetika along with Sadhvi Guptiprabha ji to welcome Sadhvi Sangeet shree Ji. It is worth mentioning here that Sadhvi Guptiprabhaji and all fellow sadhvis in her group has also entered Kolkata for the first time on 19th February,2017 and today they were the Hosts for Sadhvi Sangeet shriji.

Sadhvi Sriji completed the on foot journey from Raipur to Kolkata of about 1400 Kms. In 141 days (including almost 1 months stay in Bhuwneshwar and surrounding area and 6 days stay at South Howrah). From Rajnandgaon to Howrah where they reached on 29th January 2017. During the Journey, the responsibility of Rasta Seva was ably borne by Terapanth Sabha, Raipur up to Bhuwneshwar and thereafter by Acharya Mahashraman Prawas Vyavastha Samiti,2017 Kolkata. Enthusiastically Involvement of all the shrawak sharawikas from Raipur and Greater Kolkata was admirable. During the 141 days of journey, Sadhvishriji covered many parts of Chhattisgarh, Orissa, and West Bengal preaching the principles and teachings of Lord Mahavira, Acharya Bhikshu and Acharya Mahasharmanji’s ongoing Ahimsa Yatra which shall reach Kolkata in June 2017 for Chaturmas.

All the four Sadhvis of the group has for the first time visited Kolkata after their initiation as Jain Sadhvis. After the Raipur chaturmas, Raipur terapanthi Sabha, under able leadership of Sri Prem Chand Burad undertook Rasta Seva from 15TH November, 2017 upto Bhuwneshwar. From Raipur, various places of Lay followers - Khariyar Road, Belpara, Rampur Patna, Katabhanji, Noapara, Balangir, Sonpura, etc. were covered. On 29th January, Sadhvishriji reached Bhubneshwar and covered the area of Cuttack and Puri. After Bhuwneshwar /Cuttack where the Maryada Mahotsav was celeberated, the further journey from there to Kolkata began from 8th March, 2017 under the Rasta Seva by Acharyashri Mahashraman Chaturmas Prawas Vyavastha Samiti 2017, Kolkata, which is working under its dynamic President Sri Kamal Dugar. The Rasta seva Sanyojak is Sri Amar Chand Dugar. Many Sharawaks and Shrawikas from Greater Kolkata participated in the Rasta Seva (on foot Journey from Cuttack to Kolkata). In course of the journey on 12th March 2017 when Sadhvishriji left Balasore (Orissa) to reach Sonakonia (West Bengal), Sadhvishri entered West Bengal State. Sri Tejkaran Bothra (President Kolkata sabha), Sri Amarchand Dugar, Sri Budhmal Lunia(Secretary-Kol Sabha), Sri Laxmipat Bafna, Sri Ajay Bhansali, Sri Gyanchand Musraf,Sri Chainroop Bothra, Sri Jhabbar Dugar etc and the other shrawak/shrawikas which were in rasta seva welcomed Sadhvishriji at the West Bengal Border.

On 28th March, Sadhvishreeji reached Shakuntala Garden (at 153 Andul Road, Howrah) near Botanical Garden. During the Journey for the day Sadhvishriji also visited the Famous Botanical garden at shibpur, which has a world famous over 250 years old Great Banyan Tree with hundreds of branches. On 29th March Sadhvi Sangeet Shree JI, Sadhvi Kamal Vibha Ji, Sadhvi Shanti Prabha (Ladnun) and Sadhvi Mudita Shree Ji began their Journey from Shakuntala Garden, and through Shalimar Gate, Kajipara, G.T. Road (South) reached South Howrah Terapanth Bhawan at 12, P. K. Banerjee Road, Howrah.

Sri Sushil Giria, Sri Rakesh choraria, Sri Bajrang Daga, Sri Manoj Kochar, Sri Pradip Pugalia, Surendra Sekhani, Bunti Manot, etc along with many other Shrawaks and Shrawikas accompanied Sadhvishriji in the vihar. in today’s yatra. On reaching South Howrah Terapanth Bhawan, the procession converted into a sabha and swagat and Abhinandan program of sadhvishriji was organised from 8.30 A.M. to 9.30 A.M.

At South Howrah Sadhvisri Sangeet Shree ji and fellow Sadhvis were welcomed by Shrawaks and Shrawikas. The Mahila Mandal presented a Geetika. The Sabha president Sri Shikhar chand Lunawat Welcomed sadhvishriji. All the Sadhvis spoke on the occasion. Sadhvi Sangeet Shree ji said that we have obeyed the direction given by H. H. Acharyashree Mahashramanji during our last chaturmas at Raipur and today we have almost completed the same. We are happy to be here for the first time after diksha. The lay followers throughout Chhattisgarh, Orissa and Up to Kolkata have acted responsibly to perform their duties as devoted shrawak/shrawikas. Renowned Jain scholor Sri Srichand Choraria, former President of Kolkata Sabha Sri Jawarimal Nahata, former Secretary of Kolkata Sabha Sri Sushil Jain Choraria, Sri Sushil Giria (Sabha Vice president), Sri Basant Patawari (Secretary), Sri Madan Nahata (former Secretary of Sabha) were also present on the occasion alongwith many more lay followers.
In course of the South Howrah Stay, Sadhvi Sangeet shree Ji and fellow Sadhvis also travelled to North Howrah one day and had a warm spiritual meeting the Sadhvis Coming to Kolkata on 26th March from Gurukul - Sadhvi Vimal Pragya ji, Sadhvi Subhra Yasha Ji, Sadhvi Mudit Yasha Ji and other 9 fellow Sadhvis.
