With Paryushan Parva approaching soon from 29th August through 5th September,2016, many of us have Bhavana of doing some sort of Penance/Tapasya such as Upvas, Ekasanas and Besanas.
We are pleased to invite you to join as volunteers with the JCSC Food Service Corps.

What is the Food Service Corps?
The Food Service Corps (FSC) is a group of volunteers that serve food during auspicious events,such as Ekasana, at Derasar.
If you are able to commit in helping the team during any of the following days or within any of the given timings, even if it is for couple of hours, it will be really appreciated and you would be doing good deeds during these most auspicious days.

The Dates and Times for helping for Ekasanas are as follows:

Monday, Aug. 29th ---- 12:00pm to 2:00pm
Tuesday, Aug. 30th ---- 12:00pm to 2:00pm
Wednesday, Aug. 31st ---- 12:00pm to 2:00pm
Thursday, Sept. 1st ---- 12:00pm to 2:00pm
Friday, Sept. 2nd ---- 12:00pm to 2:00pm
Saturday, Sept. 3rd ---- 11:00am to 1:00pm
Sunday, Sept. 4th ---- 12:00pm to 2:00pm
Monday, Sept. 5th ---- 11:30pm to 1:00pm
Tuesday, Parna Sept. 6th ---- 8:30am to 10:30

The deadline to sign up is extended to Thursday, August 18, 2016 up to 12.00 AM midnight

To accomplish this task successfully we urge you to attend the orientation on Sunday, August 21, 2016, from 12.00 PM to 2.00 PM.

Hopefully everyone will make an effort to participate and register at the earliest.
