Preksha Dhyana: Yogic Exercises: Introduction

Lie down on the back. Concentrate your mind on your breath. Inhale and exhale slowly. Relax your body. Close your eyes softly. Keep a distance of twelve inches between your legs. Turn your palms towards the sky and spread them parallel to your body. Now spread your conscious mind (chitta) throughout the body with the help of auto­suggestions, suggest the whole body, Relax - Relax -Relax. Feel relaxed.
