  1. Make your breathing slow. Slowly breath out long, slowly breathe in long. Regulate your breathing and make it rhythmic. The time taken for breathing in should be equal to the time taken to breath out. Breathe out completely.
  2. Now inhale through the left nostril, and exhale through the right nostril. Then inhale through right nostril and exhale through the left nostril, try to complete the alternation by exercising your

    will power If you are not able to pracitise through your will power, you may use your finger and thumb. (During the training session teach the use of finger and thumb)

    Take your psyche with breathe. Be with psyche and breathe together. Experience only breathe. This is perception of Alternate Breathing.

    (After a while in between keep on giving instructions)
    Breathe and psyche should be together. Breathe inside then psyche inside Breathe outside then psyche outside

  3. Perception of Alternate breathing with controlled breath.
    1.  Inhale through the left nostril and hold it inside.
    2. Exhale through the right one and hold it outside
    3. Now inhale through the right nostril and hold it inside.
    4. Exhale through the left one and hold it outside.

      This completes one cycle Repeat the same exercise again and again with these four controlled breaths. Remember that the time taken to hold the breath should be only till you can hold it comfortably from one second to five seconds. Do not force at all Be aware of your breath.
