Prakrit: उवङ्ग (uvaṅga), Sanskrit: उपाङ्ग (upāṅga) "additional limb".

The canonical scriptures (Āgamas) of the Śvetāmbara Jains fall into the categories of Aṅgas and Uvaṅgas. To every Aṅga a subsidiary Uvaṅga is associated.
