  1. Dharma is very beneficial, but only that form of it which can be defined by non-violence, restraint and penance.
  2. The dharma which is inextricably involved with obsessive ideas, wealth or power can be dangerous.
  3. The one who commits violence in the name of religion and suggests violent remedies is moving away from religion.
  4. A characterless man is not supported by tradition or form. Religion and religious organization are not one and the same.
  5. Lingual felicity and erudition does not bring peace of mind. There is only one tool to achieving mental peace and that is religion.
