Mahavir Jayanti
It is Lord Mahavir who established the Sangh (community) within which we today reside. We are both honoured and duty-bound to remember His life.
It is with great pleasure that Jain Vishwa Bharati in association with Navyug Jain Pragati Mandal are celebrating the momentous occasion of the birth of Bhagwan Mahavir. The programme will include a lecture by Samani Prasanna Pragyaji, as well as dances and stavans by both associations. Everyone present will also have the opportunity to participate in Jaap (chanting) to celebrate the birth of the last Tirthankar.
The program will be held at Sayer Centre on Sunday 15th April, 10.30am to 12.30pm. All are invited to attend.

On the auspicious occasion of the Parna (breaking of fast) of Bhagwan Rushabhdev's Varshi Tap (year long fasting), Jain Vishwa Bharati is celebrating with Akhand Bhaktamar Paath (24 hour continuous chanting of Bhaktamar Stotra). The jaap, to be held at Sayer Centre will commence at 7.00am Friday 20th April and continue until 7.00am Saturday 21st April. This is an extremely rare opportunity and everyone should take advantage of this pious remembrance of Bhagwan Rushabhdev.
Jain Vishwa Bharati will also be hosting the parna itself of who is completing his Varshi Tap. The parna will be held between 10.30am and 12.30pm at the Sayer Centre by Shree Harshad Bhai Sanghrajka. for more informations: Jain Vishwa Bharati London
