Sahaj Shankh Mudra

This Mudra should be practiced in Vajraasan or Sukhaasan for 10 minutes. One can also do this Mudra along with Moolbandh (Contraction of Anal Muscle) or with Pranayam to get more benefits.

Moolbandh: In this Mudra one has to pull his Anal Muscles inside with full force and stay in this position till he can do it. With regular practice of Moolbandh, we can make anal muscles and sexual organs stronger and healthier. Procedure: This is another type of Shankh Mudra. This Mudra can be formed by simply trapping all the fingers of both the hands with each other and placing both the thumbs close to each other. Benefits:
  1. This Mudra makes our immune system stronger.

  2. This Mudra increases our blood circulation.

  3. This cure all ailments related to voice or speech i.e. Stammering, Stuttering, etc.

  4. Singers can make their voice sweet by practicing this Mudra.

  5. This improves digestion system. If one practice this after intake of food in Vajraasan it helps in digesting the food. It also helps to cure Gas problem.

  6. This Mudra helps us to practice Brahmacharya.

  7. This also helps in strengthening Anal muscles. 8. With regular practice of Moolbandh even aged person can look like a youth person.

Meyo Mudra

Procedure: In this mudra, touch the upper portion of the paw of your hand with middle finger and ring finger and stretch straight remaining fingers. Benefit: Useful to regulate the high blood pressure or low blood pressure.
Dhyan Mudra

According to Ashthang Yoga, there are seven steps which lead to Dhyan i.e. Yama, Niyan, Asana, Pranayam, Pratyahar, Dhaarna, Dhyan and Samadhi. This Mudra is very effective in Meditation.

Procedure: One should sit straight in Padmasan by keeping spinal cord and neck straight and keeping eyes closed softly. Now place the palm of one hand on other hand below the Navel level as shown that both the thumbs can touch each other. If anyone can't sit in Padmasan, then they can choose any posture which suits to them i.e. Ardha Padmasan, Sukhasan or Vajraasan. Benefits:
  1. This Mudra provides mental peace and makes our nerves system powerful.

  2. This Mudra reduced restlessness of our mind and increases our concentration.

  3. This Mudra helps us reaching higher level in Meditation. It helps us to know ourselves.

  4. If this Mudra is practiced in Padmasan, our spinal cord becomes straight and gives energy to our Sushumna nerves. This helps person to become introvert.

  5. It improves the nature of a person. An angry person can become peaceful by practicing this Mudra.

  6. It improves the thought process of a person. Person develops positive and pure thinking by practicing this Mudra. This also makes persons Aura Pure.

Caution:

n this Mudra Energy is being created by touching both the thumbs. If a person experience lot of energy, then he should keep both the thumbs on each other rather than keep in touching position.
