Dveṣa

That Pariṇāma (1) (to undergo transformation from one state to another one) of Jīva, which engenders hatred i.e., the desire for (inflicting) suffering, e.g., anger, conceit.

'dose' tti dveṣaṇaṃ dveṣaḥ dūṣaṇaṃ vā doṣaḥ sa cānabhivyaktakrodhamānalakṣaṇabhedasvabhāvo'pritimātramiti.

duḥkhābhiprāyo dveṣaḥ.
