The Election Committee is very pleased to announce the results of 2014 election results. We had approximately 63% participation. Of the 1,579 ballots sent out, we received a total of 1,015 valid ballots (including the electronic votes). The Election Committee, with the help of dedicated volunteers completed a careful counting of votes and the final results were presented to a combined EC-BOD meeting held yesterday.
Based on the results, the following candidates have been declared as the winning candidates in the order of number of votes received:

The total expense of the election was $3,035. The Election Committee recommends to conduct Electronic Voting as the primary means in the future and to only provide an alternative method for those who are not able to vote electronically. A task force made up of Narendra Maniar and Ketan Parekh will explore the possibility with the Web Team and make recommendations well in advance of the next election.
