Ahimsa Parmo Dharma, Ahimsā Paramo Dharmah, Ahiṃsā paramo dharmaḥ
Nonviolence is the highest religious principle
This maxim is found in Mahābhārata. It is however not found in any Jain scripture -
generally it is misunderstood as being said by Bhagawan Mahavira.
