Guruji's Shraddhanjali
As voiced by many JSGD members, BOT and EC are planning a Shraddhanjali event to pay respect to our beloved Guruji. BOT is working with Guruji’s family to include them in expressing our gratitude.
The BOT(Rajiv Shah, Manish Salecha, Rahul Munot, Biren Shah, Hemesh Shah, Rachna Parakh and Manish Jain) has also unanimously agreed to install a permanent plaque in the loving memory of Shri. Mahendrabhai J. Shah (Guruji) to honor his legacy and recognize his larger-than-life contribution(40+ years) to JSGD. This plaque will also highlight Guruji’s legacy of inspiring JSGD youth generations and members through Study class, Religious and Swadhyay activities. The plaque will be installed in the library and will be inaugurated on Shraddhanjali day in the presence of Guruji’s family.
Guruji continues to inspire us even now with his $100,000 donation to JSGD as a life insurance policy beneficiary. On behalf of JSGD membership, the EC and the BOT express their sincere gratitude and Khub Khub Anumodana. The BOT would also like to thank Smt. Vidyaben Shah (Prudential) for setting this policy up and collecting the insurance check from Prudential. The BOT encourages members to take advantage of this charitable gift option as a family legacy. The BOT will send the details of the Life Insurance Program in follow-up communication.
The goal is to set up a formal event when Guruji’s family visits JSGD. Once finalized with the family, we will communicate the dates, including the Shraddhanjali prayer for Guruji.
