Tranquillity, well achieved: The milk boils over.
Sprinkle a little water and the milk is once again contained in the vessel.
Similarly in the mind emotions boil over, sometimes even storms rage.
If somebody sprinkles a little water, then the mind becomes peaceful again.
It is very essential for a spiritual practitioner to cool the mind and calm the emotions.

The spiritual practitioner whose emotions have been subdued is dear to all.

Lord Mahavira said,

"It is good for a monk to practice subduing their emotions."
