It takes a village to raise a child - and this is especially true during the challenging teenage years. Our teenagers, as they go through physical and emotional changes, become quite vulnerable to peer pressure, as they constantly struggle to carve a place for themselves in their social and academic world. As parents we try our best to aid our children through this difficult process but that is often not enough - it certainly takes a village!  A strong support structure at this crucial juncture can help children morph into balanced and confident young adults ready to take on the challenges of college life and beyond.

With that in mind, JVBNA is happy to announce,

GYANSHALA YOUTH CLUB 

For High School Children

Dates - 2 Sundays per month starting on Oct 27 - This will be a meeting session with children and parents

             Other days as needed for community activities

Time – 3:30 PM - 6:00 PM

Venue - Franklin Jain Temple

A prayer session with Samanijis

A meditation session

An interactive session on teenage problems and Jain solutions

A Mathematics session for college entrance tests led by Mrs. Kiran Jain

The club will also offer parent/children led activities that offer community service/fundraising credits for college applications, and that help hone children’s leadership skills.

The scope of this club can be as narrow or as wide as the members want it to be! So, get involved and bring your ideas!

There is no enrollment fee. The club membership is free. However, you do need to register your child.
