The image of Mahamasthakabhisheka of 'Lord Bahubali' being anointed by flowers (pushpa abhisheka) taken by Nitin H.P., a Bangalore based IT professional and the executive director of the popular Jain portal WWW.JAINHERITAGECENTRES.COM has won the national award in the ICICI Bank's 'Privilege Moments Online Photography Competition'. Nitin H.P. has been declared as the National winner in Flowers & Trees Category of the Viewer's Choice Award.

ICICI Bank one of the largest private banks in India had conducted the ICICI bank Privilege Moments - Online Photography Contest for its account holders. 17,705 people had submitted 25,502 images in 6 categories. The image of Lord Bahubali has been voted as the best photo in the Flower & Trees category amongst a huge collection of 6469 images. The results can be seen online on their website - www.privilegemoments.com.   

Reacting on this fete Nitin has said that - "This is indeed very special to me as this is my first ever award for any of my pictures. The award is much more special as the awarded image is also related to my most favourite theme Jainism, its heritage & celebration. I wasn't expecting this award at all, infact this is a great booster for me to pursue my passion for Jainism & photography." Nitin, owes the success to his family and friends and has specially thanked organisers of the Bahubali Bhagawan Mahamasthakabhisheka Mahotsava (2012) at Venur for permitting him to take photographs of the event and present it on their website. One of those images taken on January 29, 2012 has finally led to this award.
