Report on the Golden Jubilee Seminar (50th) on passionless Jina Dharma
conducted by Acharya Kund Kund Jain Sanskriti Centre,

Kund Kund Nagar, at ‘Gynadoss Bhavan’ in the Vijaya Shri Parswanath Jinalaya complex, Kolathur,
Chennai-600099.

Seminar:

5 days between Wednesday the 15th May & Sunday the 19th May, 2013.

Inaugural session set in motion on Wednesday the 15th May 2013 by declaring open the Golden Jubilee Seminar by one of the Trustees of the Centre as the Chief Guest Shri S Sripal, IPS(DGP Retd.) could not make it due to sudden health problem. Followed by the introductory speech by Shri KV Aiit Doss M.A., M Com., Ambattur, Chennai in the immediate presence of two of the trustees of the Centre, with the registration of participants, inaugural session came to a close.

Participants: Gathering was about 250 plus and 148 of them registered to attend classes and 108 of them took the test conducted by Sastrys. Totally 15 classes of an hour each were conducted. On the concluding day test was held and answer papers were corrected and results announced. Three stages viz., Primary, Introductory and Advancd courses were conducted depending upon the knowledge of the participants.

Learned Scholars in Passionless Jina Dharma, Lecturers of Educational Institutions, Heads of Jain Organisations, Professionals delivered their lectures including the conduct of the followers of passionless Jina Dharma.

Laxmisen Bhattarack of Jina Kanchi has graced the occasion on the last day of the seminar and blessed. Shri Sudir Lodha, Member Minority commission presided on the last day fucction.

Every day young boys and girls performed recitation of principles of passionless Jina Dharma, Digambar Jain devotional songs with dancing. 

Prices were distributed along with the grade and participation certificates to one and all. Shri Bhupendra M Bhayani and Shri Virendra M Bhayani as usual were kind enough to donate the prize articles.

Seminar came to a close with vote of thanks by the trustees to all those who made the function a success.
