Theme: ‘Art Of Ageing’ presented by Sri Ranjit Dugar

The 3rd Monthly Meet of TPF Kolkata Branch was held in pious presence of Learned Sadhvishri Kanakshriji jointly in association with Mahapragya Philosophy Forum on 27th November 2010 at Bhikshu Granthagar, Mahasabha Bhavan, Kolkata with over 70 participants.

Topic of the Meet was “Art of Ageing” and the guest speaker was Shri Ranjit Dugar who is one of the eminent faculty members of Preksha International and also the Convener of Mahapragya Philosophy Forum.

The Meet began with chanting of Namaskar Mahamantra by Learned Sadhvisriji and all present.

Learned Sadhvishri Ji, in her blessed address, reminded all the participants about the expectations of Acharya Shri Mahapragyaji and Acharya Shri Mahashramanji from the Terapanth Professional Forum. She emphasised that every professional through his or her intellect should add value to the various organisational activities of Terapanth Samaj and asked Professionals to take up their tasks with clear vision and moral values.

Guest Speaker Shri Ranjit Dugar in his Key Note address threw light on the concept of Art of Ageing. He asserted that with Art of Ageing, every professional can experience the peace of mind, the much sought after state in today’s fast life. His Power Point presentation was all enthralling. He took participants on a higher spiritual level through his session on Preksha Meditation with excellent combination of light, sound and Mantras.

Shri Prakash Chand Maloo, President of TPF Kolkata Branch welcomed all and briefed participants about the progress made after the 2nd Meet and announced the Executive Committee team of Kolkata branch for the year 2010-11. He assured the house that the team would do his best to achieve the overall objectives of Terapanth Professional Forum.

Shri Sushil Choraria, National Jt. Secretary anchored the Meet and requested professionals to attend such Meet on regular basis for mutual benefits of all. He also expressed his gratitude to Learned Sadhvisriji for her blessings and thanked Shri Ranjeet Dugar for accepting TPF Kolkata’s request to organize the Meet Jointly.

Chief Guest Shri Narendra Kumar Shyamsukha, National President informed participants about various activities of TPF at National level and urged Professionals to develop their skill to become International level speakers to propagate principles of Jainism, Terapanth, Anuvrat, Preksha Dhyan & Jeevan Vigyan.

Shri Bhanwar Lal Singhi, Mahamantri, Jain Swetamber Terapanthi Mahasabha and Shri Bajrang Jain, National Convener - Jain Karyavahini, also addressed the gathering and stressed upon the need for organizing such Joint Meets in the greater interest of all the members. They also lauded the efforts being made by T.P.F. and Mahapragya Philosophy Forum to propagate the principles of Jainism and Prekshadhyan.

Shri Prakash Baid, National Vice President (East) of TPF, Dr. Babulal Binayakia, Shri R L Parakh, Dr.R.K.Jain, Shri Padam Shyamsukha were among the imminent personalities present to grace the occasion.

Vote of thanks was delivered by Shri Vikram Chandalia, Secretary TPF. Shri Prem Bafana, Shri Dilip Kumar Maroti, Shri Maan Vardhan Baid, Shri Paras Gang, Sri Padam Shyamsukha, Shri Hemant Kothari, Shri Rahul Hirawat, Smt. Manisha Chandalia, Ms.Yogina Kochar and Shri Amit Shyamsukha had active role in making the Meet a success.

The Meet ended with Mangalpath by Sadhvisri Ji and with high enthusiasm by all participants for future meets.
