Workshops - Conducted by Samanijis

Northampton, 02.01.2011

Our community in Northampton had an enlightening start to 2011, with the gift of guidance from the respected Samanijis Prasanna Pragya and Rohit Pragya, disciples of H.H. Acharya Mahashramanji. Two topics were discussed, including

how to change negative emotions into positive ones

followed by

are you non-violent?’.

This opportunity allowed us not only to discuss and clarify any questions we had, but also learn practical techniques of Preksha Meditation & Pranayama to help us on a day-to-day basis. The room was filled with peaceful minds and positive vibrations especially after the practices. One of the most amazing things about this day was that we all felt that Samanijis communicated the messages through in a way we understood - most of us felt that we were talking to a close friend. There were people from various religions and backgrounds and they too felt that it wasn’t targeted to those who were born in Jain families. Each workshop was attended by thirty Participants.

As per Samaniji’s inspiration, we now have a new year’s resolution to keep the ice in the mind and sugar on the tongue!
