The Panel Jaina Studies (for the section Indology and South Asian Studies/Indologie und South Asiankunde) organised by Dr Jayandra Soni, Uni-.Marburg.

The aim of the panel is to to bring together scholars working in the various fields of Jainism. The panel invites participants to contribute a paper on any field within the area, for example, Jaina philosophy, religion, literature, history, canonical texts. Themes dealing with contemporary Jainism are also welcome. Acceptance for participation will be based on a short abstract each participant is expected to submit before registering.
