In an important announcement in Sri Dungargarh, Yuvacharya Shri Mahashraman declared that as per the manufacturing process, Golden/Silver Varak (foil) used in decorating sweets etc. can’t be a vegetarian item.
- Hence all sadhu-sadhvis, saman - samanis have been restricted to its use.
- The same have been appealed to the Shravak-Shraviksa to prohibit the use of Vark.
