“Illness is this era’s widespread problem. Medical innovations to curb the increasing diseases are failing continuosly. Due to the effect of illness on the physical self we often forget that reason for illness can be mental also. Health or illness depends on us only.” These thoughts were presented by Sadhvishri Kanakshriji, the learned disciple of Acharya Shri Mahapragyaji addressing the mass of 500 people on the eve of “Hridya Rog Karan and Nivaran Shivir” organized under the guidance of Heart Disease Specialist Dr. Bimal Chajjer at the Mahasabha Samvasaran of Shri Jain Swetamber Terapanthi Sabha, Kolkata. In her elucidation she said - if, from the beginning we are aware, regular and disciplined in our morning, night and seasonal regimen then we can avoid many illnesses. In the tensions of technological development, industrial revolution, urbanization, competitive spirit and modern living, man plays with the natural heritance of his physical self. Irregularities in eating and sleeping habits, excessive tension, disappointments, anxiety, perplexity, pessimism etc cause heart disorders in man. Modern medical innovations in such cases fail to provide permanent ailment to the disorders and neither cure them. So, where discipline in daily routine, Prekshadhyan, Yogas, Pranayam and indulging in study of religious and pious literature  increase internal strength, purification of emotions take place, chemical changes take place in the body and there it leads of healthiness. Sadhvishri said - Dr. Chajjer worked on the lines of respectable Gurudev and included Prekshadhyan, Aasan, exercises, healthy food etc in his medical innovation, resultant of which is that he has been able to cure many heart related problems.

After the elucidation of Sadhvishri, Dr. Chajjer in an inspirational manner discussed various reasons for heart related problems and with the help of computers discussed about the functioning of the heart, blood circulation and nerves etc. Also he explained the role of food as the reason of restraint and advised low usage of oil and ghee. He trained how to tackle the various restraints - cholesterol, trigliside, L.D.L., H.D.L., and B.D.L. Under the guidance of Dr. Chajjer preparation of food using zero oil was taught to the participants. Dr. Chajjer in his speech said that he is grateful to respected Gurudev Shri Tulsi, Acharya Shri Mahapragyaji and Terapanthi Dharmasangh’s handsome army. Gurudev Shri Tulsi has inspired my quest. Prekshadhyan achievement of Acharya Shri Mahapragyaji is the foundation of my medical achievement. Guidance of the Sadhu - Sadhvis, guidance of Swami Dharmanadji’s camp has played an important role in ascending my work. Before here I have also organised training camps at Hyderabad and Delhi under the guidance of respected Sadhvishri Kanakshriji. I am fortunate to be guided under you again in Kolkata.

The work of the rank holders of Kolkata Sabha; Shri Narendra Manot, secretary of the associate Sabha have been vital in the organization of the camp. Shri Karan Singh Nahata, secretary of the Sabha introduced in brief Dr. Chajjer and also expressed his gratitude. Dr. Chajjer was honoured with a memento from the Sabha while Shri Devendra Kumar Dugar and Shri Bhanwarlal Ghorawat honoured him. The participants attended the 3 hour long camp with enthusiasm and zeal.
