Rajnath Singh And Many Jain Saints Join The Signature Campaign To Save Cow

The RSS movement to ban the cow slaughter on national level - Vishwa Mangal Go Gram Yatra, got a boost when BJP National President Shri Rajnath Singh, Jain Muni Gachhadhipati Acharya Nityananda Suriswar Maharaj, Acharya Virendra Suriswar Maharaj, Acharya Vasant Suriswar Maharaj, founder of Sukhi Parivar Abhiyan Gani Rajendra Vijay Maharaj made their signatures, in the Signature Campaign, that would be submitted to the President of India, to protect the Go Mata.

On the auspicious morning of today at the residence of BJP national president in New Delhi, hundreds of Jain saints, VHP leaders and many dignitaries from different sections of the society vow to protect the mother cow as she is respected as the mother since ages.

Shri Rajnath Singh appealed the Jain saints to spread the message at each nook and corner of the country to save the revered Go Mata, who not only worshiped as God in our country but it has many social and economic advantages. Shri Singh himself and all the saints put their signatures in the prepared Performa of Vishwa Mangal Go Gram Yatra.

Acharya Nityanand Suriswar Maharaj appealed all to join the movement started by the RSS to protect the Holy Cow.He said that “All of Jain philosophy and ethics can be explained in one word - Ahimsa. Indeed, the Jain dharma has perfected nonviolence not only in action, but also in thoughts. The Jain way of life is a perfect exposition of the ancient Sanskrit saying: Ahimsa paramo dharmaha, ahimsa is the supreme religion. Cow protection and jeev daya are a unique form of nonviolence followed by the Jain community”. Supreme of Sukhi Parivar Abhiyan Gani Rajendra Vijay appealed that it is duty of every citizen in our country to join the movement to ban cow slaughter. Shri Ganiji added that the RSS has done a commendable job by launching the nation wide yatra and it has the support of the Sadhu Samaj. He said only those who adhere to the alien culture can oppose the ban on cow slaughter. Gani Rajendra Vijay also said about Sukhi Parivar Abhiyan that we are going to make a seven acre campus in kawant, Gujarat which will spend Ten crore rupees on different activities, like higher secondary school, hospital, old age home, child care home, spiritual center and Goshala for protect the Go Mata. Gani Rajendra Vijay said that “Ahimsa and jiva daya have made Jains great environmental conservationists. Eco-friendliness is interwoven into their day-to-day living and is based on a feeling of being trustees of the earth. We are like the vanavasis or tribals. We exist in harmony with the earth. The earth takes care of us, and so we take care of her.

He also said “An attitude of reverence towards the earth, air, water and animals stems from the Jain belief that everywhere beings exist in different forms and in various stages of spiritual evolution. So if I cut a tree, or hurt a cow, I have killed a life and, therefore, caused violence”. VHP Delhi President Shri Swadeshpal Gupta who organized the programme and collected the signatures from the Jain saints and Rajnath Singh, and also appealed all to spread the message to each village of the country so that the Vishwa Mangal Go Gram Yatra would be successful.

After putting their signatures in the Signature campaign, all the audiences took the blessings of the Jain Sadhvis, who were also present on the occasion.

Secretary of Shree Vallabh Smark Mr. Rajkumar Jain, President of Shrisangh Mr. Indralal Jain, Journalist Mr. Deepak rath,Secretary of Sukhi Parivar Foundation Mr. Lalit Garg, Mr. Narendra Jain, Rajasthan Patrika Delhi head Mr. Gyanchand Jain, Shri Mukesh Agrawal, Shri Gopal Sharma and Social Worker Mr. Taraschand Jain, welcomed Mr. Rajnath Singh with Flowers, shawl and presented him Memento.
