Thoughts & applications of Gandhian Philosophy leads the way to the world even today.

- Sadhvi Kanak Shri

“Father of nation Mahatma Gandhi is relevant even today. His thoughts  and application of his philosophy of  non-violence leads the way to the world even today. We should not only remember the Father of the Nation but also try reliving his life and spirit”- said Sadhvi Kanak Shri  ji, a learned disciple of H.H. Acharya Mahapragya, on this occasion addressing the gathering, in the world Non-violence day programme organized by Shri Jain Swetamber Terapanthi Sabha, Kolkata at Mahasabha Bhawan, Kolkata on 2nd October, 2009, the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

“The charismatic personality that united the whole of the nation during Freedom movement was nothing but the power of truth and non violence practices. The nation has today forgotten Mahatma. Gandhi is but regrettable.”- said Sadhvisriji while revealing touchy incidents from the practical life of  Mahatma Gandhi.

“Had the conduct  of the nation followed his philosophy in politics and  in administration of the nation,  the map of the nation would have been different today.”-Said Sadhvisriji, in this context, “the practical form of the application of truth and non violence through Anuvrat as presented by the Anuvrat Pravartak Acharya Sri Tulsi” and through 7 (Seven) yearlong Ahinsa Yatra a bold thinker and great philosopher Saint on Ahimsa - Acharya Mahapragya inculcated the spirit of Ahinsa with a new vigor.  Today some 350 centres on Ahinsa Training are active under his able leadership.  This is in itself a great revolution of Non Violence.  The spread of the message of Training in applied Ahinsa through United Nations Organisation has reverberated whole of the world with surprises.

Now even the Big Powers of the world are  thinking in the line that the problem of Violence and Terrorism can be solved using the power of Ahimsa instead of using the power of  Nuclear Armaments.

Deliberating the development of spirit and training in Ahimsa as an important formulation by Acharya Shree Mahapragya, Sadhvishriji said - “Peace, tolerance, politeness, truth abidance, practical indulgence are the instruments that can fortify Ahimsa in societies, nations and the world at large”.

In the celebration, apart from hundreds of lay followers, over 100 Gyanshala children along with Gyanshala trainers were present to pay respect to the Father of the Nation
