A rare glimpse of   the Abhinav Samayik in the pious presence of Sadhvi Kanak Shri, a learned disciple of Yugpradhan Acharya Mahapraghya ji was sighted in  the Terapanth Mahasabha, Burrabazar on 9th August, 2009. Samayik is a spiritual ritual of the Jain clan. It is a scientific experiment of equanimity and mental peace. The programme was organized all over the country by Akhil Bhartiya Terapanth Yuvak Parishad under the guidance of his holiness Acharya Shri Mahapraghyaji and under the direction of Yuvacharya Shri Mahashramanji. Addressing a gathering of hundreds of lay followers in the programme organized at Mahasabha Samavsaran by Teyup, Kolkata; Sadhvishri Kanakshriji said - “Acharya Shri Tulsiji and Acharya Shri Mahapraghyaji are spiritual leaders having a scientific vision.

They have always said - “don’t follow conservatism instead practice the religion of life.” Make life a laboratory of religion. The outcome of this thought is “Abhinav Samayik”. Explaining Samayik as a religious vow for the lay followers, Sadhvishri said - “forty-eight minutes of regular Samayik practice helps one abstain from sinful acts and makes a person more patient towards others and self-eccentric. She said Samayik is a mental training for non-violence (ahimsa). It helps build a new personality. Giving a complete explanation on Samayik, she further added that regular practice of stability and patience is a basis for a happy, peaceful and divine life. It’s a simplified technique of becoming a conqueror over the enemies, over death and of the hearts.

Sadhvi Madhulata ji  helped the gathering of lay followers with collective and formal experiments of Abhinav Samayik. The unique experiments of Tripadi Vandana, prayer of the Teerthankars; acceptance of Samayik and completion of Samayik including chanting of Mantras, meditation, swadhyaya and salutation to Panch Parmeshti - presented a attractive sight. The gathering present in the Samayik dress illuminated sainthood. A group of Sadhvi presented an influencing song.
