Jain Vishwa Bharati University, Ladnun Sanctioned A Grant Of Rs. 6.69 Crores By University Grants Commission

A sum of Rs. 6.69 crores has been sanctioned as grant-in-aid by the University Grants Commission (UGC) for the period of 11th Five year plan to Jain Vishwa Bharati University at Ladnun in Rajasthan on the recommendations of an expert team constituted by the U. G. C.

The team, headed by Dr. J. V. Prabhakar, Vice-Chancellor of Rayasaleema University had visited the Vishwa Bharati University and submitted their report after a thorough evaluation of the programmes, facilities and activities being conducted by the university. U.G.C. having been fully satisfied with the recommendations of the expert committee sanctioned this sum of Rs. 6.69 crores, which was almost six times the amount sanctioned in the previous five year plan.

The Secretary of U. G. C., Mr. D. R. K. Chauhan has informed the Vice-Chancellor of Jain Vishwa Bharati, Dr. Samani Mangal Pragya Ji about the grant, hoping that the amount sanctioned will help in making all-round progress and accomplishment of the proposed projects.
