Ahimsa Yatra ►Ahimsa Samvay

Ahimsa Yatra has ignited the faith on Non Violence

– Acharya Mahapragya

Clock moves with its own pace, neither fast nor slow. If the pace changes, time will automatically differs.

Time is changing. We had started Ahimsa Yatra seven years back. We have not expected such an overwhelming response we have received during the years. Our first destination was Gujarat. Land of Gujarat is blessed with intellects, prosperity and happiness. Many times I heard from people that you are not the Acharya of Terapanth sect rather you are the Acharya of humanity.

I feel non violence is the hunger & thrust of current time. During stay in Gujarat, many times we stay in Muslim’s houses also. All people despite of any communal boundaries wanted to progress in their life. None of the person enjoys poverty. We found the impact of Anuvrat, of humanity is playing its role every where.

When we started, we planned for three years but simultaneously demand was going up and one very important factor immediate President Dr. A. P. J.  Kalam come into picture for non-violence revolution. We had to stay at Udaipur for chaturmas but Dr. Kalam requested to do in Delhi during his tenure. Hence we have changed our schedule. Three years Ahimsa Yatra has been extended to nine years. In last two years, due to health problem, schedule was changed and pre decided area of Mewar & Sawanchi –Malani are left untouched. We came to Jaipur unexpectedly. Jaipur got the chaturmas of any Terapanth’s Acharya after 33 years.

I am glad to say that the work force of our society is very efficient and devoted. Jaipur’s chaturmas was decided instantly and in very short period all preparation had been completed in time. Their individual & team efforts are really appreciable.

Today we reached in Sujangarh. This is also coincidence that Ahimsa Yatra has started from Sujangarh and is ending as well at Sujangarh. I am hearing from the time of Kalugani that Sujangarh is the area of intelligence and brilliance. Hence Sujangarh is also called as Chaturgarh. Muni Bhimraj ji & Muni Nathmal swami ji had prepared the force of workers in the field of philosophy, devotion and working area. Coincidently non violence’s work was initiated from here only and now completing also. The work of non violence is everlasting. But we have to slow down the speed of traveling and to increase the speed of work.

Gurudev had traveled a lot but he completed the long travels before his 60 years. I consider. It is the blessings of Gurudev only that I got opportunity to travel in lasts of eight decade of my life. I felt that he was walking before me during whole Ahimsa Yatra and was wiping off the problem arising there.

Now a 7 point programme of Ahimsa Yatra is ready for execution.

Acharya Mahapragya shared his experiences and future planning of Ahimsa Yatra during his discourse at Sujangarh.

On the urge of Acharya Mahapragya, Yuvacharya Mahashraman recited the reference statement of Ahimsa Yatra Completion which is as below.

Completion of Ahimsa Yatra

Bidasar’s chaturmas of 2001 was milestone for naming ceremony, planning and its firm undertaking during the course.

Ahimsa Yatra was started on 5 December, 2001 from It has reached back to Sujangarh spreading & igniting the message of awakening the consciousness of non violence & development of moral values. In tenure of seven years, it is passed through various cities, towns, villages and states and was successful in spreading its message & execution.

On 14 December, 2008, we are declaring the completion of Ahimsa Yatra at Sujangarh.

Our aim is work for development of non-violence. Hence Ahimsa Yatra is now converted into Ahimsa Samvay.

Ahimsa Samavay will be now shaping according to the 7 point programme.
