NAMO ARAHANTANAM

Meaning:

  • Obeisance to the ARAHANTS.
  • Arahant means the destroyer of all four destructive karmas and attained total knowledge (Keval Gyan)
  • Characteristic qualities (inherent powers): Twelve.

Methodology of chanting:

  • Choose any suitable and comfortable posture, face east or north direction
    and chant line:

OM NAMO ARANTANAM

While concentrating at the top of head (Gyana Kendra), visualizing the white colour of the full moon.

(Note: there are thirteen centers in our body. They are called Chaitanya Kendras. Gyana Kendra is one of them.)

Advantages:

  • Enhances purity, concentration, sharpens Memory.
  • Pacifies the ill effects of the planets Moon and Venus.

Mudra:

  • Arhat Mudra.

Process:

  • Raise both hands while inhaling, lower down both hands while exhaling.
