Delhi Book Fair is an annual fair, organized by the India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO) at Pragati Maidan. From all types of books to different magazines to maps to teaching aids and computer software, it exhibits a wide range of items. At the Book Fair of Delhi, you can expect to get all the books that have been recently published, that to at discounted prices. Also, if you want to buy even the rarest of books, then the Delhi Book Fair is the place to be.

Along with New Delhi, ITPO organizes such book fairs at Calcutta and Chennai (Madras) also. One of the major motives behind these book fairs is to promote reading among people as well as to showcase the advances that are being made in the book industry. Delhi Book Fair not only provides a wonderful platform for the book lovers and the student community, but also gives an opportunity to the Book publishing industry to interact with them.

Publishers from various parts of India, as well as abroad, come to take part in this Book Fair. Separate pavilions are allotted to different publishers, with their size depending upon the status of a particular publishing house. One can find books in almost all the languages of the world at the Delhi Book Fair.

VJS Will Participate In Delhi Book Fair - 2008 To Propagate Jainism  

Vishwa Jain Sangathan will participate in Delhi Book Fair' 2008 (from 30th Aug to 7th Sep' 2008) at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The timings of the fair will be from 10 am to 8 pm. The objective of participation is to promote the Jain literature. researchers, professors, doctors, historians, scholors, students, publishers, writers etc., coming from from India and other countries, who visit this fair in the search of new books, research materials and more information.
