  • Former performer and trainer of Bharatanatyam (classical Indian dance) and author on articles on that art
  • Wife of Chief Secretary of Delhi Government, Shri S. Regunathan
  • First term as Vice-chancellor of JVBI [Jain Vishva Bharati Institute], deemed University in Ladnun, Rajasthan, India, founded by Acharya Tulsi, from Sept. 2001- Dec. 2005. In December 2005, Samani Mangal Pragya was appointed for two weeks as acting vice-chancellor provisionally. In these two weeks, the selection committee agreed finally to nominate and appoint the former vice-chancellor for a second term. In September 2006 she resigned from this function.
  • Editor-In-Chief and Editorial Adviser of 'You Can Change The World', a monthy spirtual magazine, whose publication was cessed in June 2006.
