Robert Arlt, born 1986 in Dresden, is B.A.-student of South-Asian Art History and Social and Cultural Anthropology at Freie Universität Berlin, where he also works as a student assistant.

  • He was introduced to Jainism, including its history, art and philosophy, in lectures held by Patrick Krueger, who is head of the Center for Jaina Studies (CfJS) of Freie Universität Berlin.
  • Concerning Jain art, his interest currently focuses on miniature paintings in manuscripts from Gujarat and Rajasthan.
