Hridaya Roga - Karana and Nivarana

One of the reasons of the heart attack is irregular diet. The calories we should get from our food have been specified. This principle of calories is more often misused than well-used. Food containing more calories is probably not necessary. One should not eat more than what is necessary for carrying on the functions of the body and our journey through life. But people eat more than necessary and eat very frequently. The digestive system is under greater strain. The energy of the body is burnt up only in digesting the food. The heart disease is one result of intemperate eating.
