Jain Center of Southern California

RSVP for 31st Anniversary of our Jinalay

Following events require RSVP:

  • May 17, Friday Dinner 6:00 PM
  • May 18, Saturday Dinner 6:00 PM
  • May 19, Sunday Lunch 12:00 Noon

Please RSVP since that takes just 15 seconds of your time and that is the "Jain" way so we can avoid wasting food.

How to RSVP?
Send a text message to (949) 436 6069.

Do I send separate messages for each day?
No. You can RSVP for all days in one message.

What message to text?

Let us keep it very simple and just give us count for each day. We are showing two examples below:

  • FRIDAY 1 SATURDAY 4 SUNDAY 2
  • FRIDAY 2 SATURDAY 3

Hopefully these two examples make everything very clear as to what you should text us. The first example tells us that 1 member for Friday, 4 members on Saturday and 2 members on Sunday. The second example tells us 2 members on Friday and 3 members on Saturday. If you still have issues understanding these examples then please call 949 436 6069 and leave us a detailed message.

Will I receive a response to my RSVP message?
Yes. You will receive a text message within 24 hours.

How do I contribute towards the Swamivatsalya?
It is very simple. Just send us a text and someone from the EC will contact you to get the details.
Here is an example for contributing $25 towards Swamivatsalya:

  • $25

Fine Print:
RSVP closes on May 15, Wednesday at 800 PM. No one will be denied food but priority will be given to our seniors and the members that do the RSVP. Your text or call to the specified number is giving us explicit permission to call/text you on your number. We do not retain/use your number for anything else unrelated to the RSVP and your Swamivatsalya contribution.

RSVP closes on May 15, Wednesday 8:00 PM

For the upcoming weekly challenge, we are challenging the participants to Grow your own vegetables”. Growing your own vegetables is easier than you might think plus saves money, tastes better, and ensures you know where your food came from. Start with herbs and tomatoes for a cheaper, fresher, and easier way to cook. Many fruits and vegetables can be grown from a packet of seeds (and can be purchased with SNAP benefits!).
