Instructions of Akhil Bharatiya Terapanth Mahila Mandal and tireless efforts of Delhi Terapanth Mahila Mandal has led to the inauguration of a crossroad named "Kanya Suraksha Circle" by Shri Ram Niwas Goel (Speaker, Delhi Legislative Assembly). While inaugurating the crossroad, the Speaker thanked Shri Arvind Kejriwal (Chief Minister of Delhi) for naming the circle. He said that the circle has been named so, to showcase that women are safe today. So, it is time for people to change their viewpoint on Delhi's women safety issue. Further he added that, many such measures will be taken in future to spread the message 'WOMEN ARE SAFE', and talked about the instrumental contribution of Acharya Tulsi in the field of Women Education. Finally, he appreciated the marvellous works of ABTMM against female foeticide and other social causes.
On this auspicious occasion, Shri Ram Niwas Goel was accompanied by Smt Kumud Kachhara (President of ABTMM) for circle inauguration. Smt Kumud Kachhara said that women safety is a serious problem today and expressed gratitude towards Delhi Govt. for their sheer awareness and cooperation on overcoming this issue. She also emphasized the works of Akhil Bhartiya Terapanth Mahila Mandal on social causes. Smt Pushpa Bokaria (President of Delhi TMM) talked about the importance of manner in which Delhi Govt. choose this place to showcase their condolences, and congratulated them for understanding the issue sensitiveness. Lastly, Smt Saroj Sipani (Secretary of TMM) mentioned the contribution of Delhi Govt. in baring the circle's construction costs, and cooperation of Terapanth Mandal for the crossroad's making. Media Coordinator Dr Kusum Lunia mentioned that these wonderful speeches were followed by a drama performed by girl students, to create awareness on female feoticide. Distinguished guests were also felicitated on this occasion.
