In the Anupreksha of Transmigration, the practitioner perceives and contemplates: "How long have I been roaming about this world? There is no form of existence in which I have not taken birth. I have been born a number of times in every shape and condition. Shall I go on roaming like that forever? He perceives various kinds of suffering in all forms of existence. He wants to break away from this bondage of endless transmigration.
