आचार्यश्री महाप्रज्ञजी के पट्टोत्सव को विकास महोत्सव के रूप में प्रतिवर्ष मनाया जाने वाला यह उत्सव एक आध्यात्मिक निरीक्षण का पर्व है। हम जो उत्सव मनाते हैं। वह अच्छी उपस्थिति व निष्पत्ति के साथ सानन्द समपन्न होते हैं। यह सन्तोषप्रद होता है, परन्तु यह काफी नहीं है। ‘विकास महोत्सव’ आत्मचिंतन व आत्मनिरीक्षण का समय होता है। जब हम अपने आपका निरीक्षण व आत्मलोचन करें कि हमने मान, माया, लोभ, लालच, भय, क्रोध पर कितनी विजय पाई है। हमारा आवेष आवेग की स्थिति क्या है? हम मोक्ष मार्ग की ओर कितने प्रषस्त हुए हैं। आचार्यश्री महाश्रमणजी के आज्ञानुवर्ती ‘षासनश्री’ प्रेक्षाप्राध्यापक मुनि किषनलालजी ने विकास महोत्सव के सन्दर्भ में अपने उद्गार व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि हम अपने अन्दर झांके कि हमारा अहंकार, लोभ, भय, हिंसा की भावना कितनी कम हुई है और हमारे भीतर सद्भावना, नैतिकता, नषामुक्ति का कितना विकास हुआ तभी ‘विकास महोत्सव’ मनाना सार्थक होगा। इस अवसर पर सभा अध्यक्ष दर्षनकुमारजी जैन, प्रेक्षा प्रषिक्षक लाजपतरायजी जैन व वरिष्ठ श्रावक मदनलालजी पालीवाल आदि विषेष रूप से उपस्थित थे।
मुनिश्री निकुंज कुमार जी ने भी उपदेष देते हुए प्रत्येक श्रावक वर्ग को आत्मचिंतन करने को कहा। इस दौरान श्रीमती सुनीता जैन (धर्मपत्नी श्री राहुल जैन) ने अठाई की तपस्या का प्रत्याख्यान पूर्ण किया।
