CHARITRA VANDANAVALI & DIKSHARTHI BAHUMAAN - FRIDAY, June 23rd 2017
We are privileged to invite you for - Mumukshu Hetaben Shah (D/O Dinesh & Geeta Shah, Windsor ON) 's bahumaan ceremony on Friday, 06/23 - 7:30 PM, along with "Charitra Vandanvali Recital". Hetaben had been in India for past few years, staying & spending most of her time with Maharaj Saheb(s) and Guru Bhagvant(s). While she continued learning about Jainism, she is inspired by Param Pujya. Daksharekhashreeji Sadhaviji Maharaj Saheb and have decided to take Diksha to continue her spiritual journey.
This is a very special and auspicious occasion for our Jain Society. Please plan to join for this unique and opportunity.
18 ABHISHEK CEREMONY - SATURDAY, June 24th 2017
Members who are bringing Bhagwan Pratimaji from their homes for 18 Abhishek Ceremony on Saturday, June 24th 2017, please bring one thali that is big enough to place Bhagwan in thali and deep enough to hold water for 9 Abhishek. If possible, members are requested to bring following "Ashta Prakari Puja" material from home, otherwise it will be provided from temple.
List of items: 1. Kalash (1) 2. Vatki for Chandan (1) 3. Flowers 4. Dhoop (1) 5. Divo (1) 6. Rice (small bowl) 7. Sweet - Naivedya (1) 8. Fruit (1) 9. Anga Luchhana (3) 10. Thali to hold Bhagwan Pratimaji (1) Members are requested to take their Bhagwan Pratimaji to home after completion of 18 Abhishek Ceremony.
JSGD ANTAKSHARI - SATURDAY, June 24th 2017
All members are invited to join "Jain Antakshari" program as anniversary celebration, orchestrated by Shri Narendrabhai Nandu and his group. This program will commence at 8 PM on Saturday, 06/24/17. As we all know, with the presence of Narendrabhai Nandu, it will be exciting and spiritually filled event. So we request all JSGD members to attend this event.
