Ahimsa Yatra of Acharya Mahashraman

Video:

South Howrah
16.06.2017

On the third day of holy stay of His Holiness Acharya Mahashraman in South Howrah lay followers accepted Guru Dharana or Samyaktva Diksha (accepting Terapanth rules for being a Terapanthi lay follower) in the holy feet of His Holiness Acharya Mahashraman during the Prime Sermon. His Holiness started it with reciting holy Namaskar Mahamantra.
I accept Lord Mahavir as my God of Worship.
I accept His Holiness Acharya Mahashraman as my Guru.
I accept Jain Shwetambar Terapanth as my Religion.
I devote my religious belief towards Dev, Guru and Dharm for lifelong.
I will never consume egg, meat, fish and liquors.
I will not attempt suicide and also will not kill any other human due to anger.
I will recite Namaskar Mahamantra for at least 21 times everyday apart of certain situation.
His Holiness further preached- There are three things Dev, Guru and Dharm. Our Dev is Vitarag Lord Mahavir. His Holiness asked the people about Guru, all replied with one voice- His Holiness Acharya Mahashraman.
When His Holiness asked about Dharm then also all replied with one voice- Jain Shwetambar Terapanth.
His Holiness Acharya Mahashraman explained- our Dev is Vitarag, Guru is the viator of the path of Vitarag and our Dharm is also connected to Vitarag. Our devotion of religious beliefs should be remained towards Dev, Guru and Dharm. The second thing is never eat egg, meat, fish and also never drink any liquor at any place like hotel, foreign or any festival or situation. Never think about suicide or kill anyone due to anger and thoughts of the same should not take place inside us. Ahimsa Parmo Dharmah- Ahimsa is utmost religion which we have to follow. Recite Namaskar Mahamantra everyday for at least 21 times apart of certain situation no matter wherever you are. Then His Holiness make the lay followers to do penance of these four rules.
