Sadhvisri Guptiprabhaji and fellow Sadhvis - Sadhvisri Kusumlataji, Sadhvisri Maulikyashaji and Sadhvisri Bhavityashaji reached Kolkata on 19th February 2017 after completing a successful Chaturmas at Rajnandgaon in Chhattisgarh State in the year 2016. The first stay of Sadhvisriji at Kolkata was at the Seth Bishandayal Goyal Pariwar Home at 9 Pretoria Street, Kolkata-700 071.

All the four Sadhvis of the group has for the first time visited Kolkata after their initiation as Jain sadhvis. As a symbolic participation in the final lap of the yatra Sri Surendra Choraria (Former President of TPF Raipur and TEYUP Raipur) was present in the journey from Howrah to Kolkata to represent Chhattisgarh state. Sri Basant Patawari, Sri Manoj Kochar, Sri Narerndra Manot, Sri Khemchand Rampria, Sri Mahendra Dudhoria, Sri Rakesh Choraria, Sri Pankaj Dudhoria, Sri Ashok Kothari, Sri Mahabir Pratap Duger, Sri Shailendra Borar, Ramesh Goyal, and many members of Goyal family were present in today’s yatra. Goyal family warmly welcomed Sadhvishriji and all lay followers at their Home..

Sadhvi Guptiprabha ji, Sadhvi Kusum Lata ji, Sadhvi Maulik Yasha ji and Sadhvi Bhavit Yasha ji completed the on foot journey of about 1060 Kms. In 72 days from Rajnandgaon to Howrah where they reached on 27th January 2017. During the Journey, the responsibility of Rasta Seva was ably borne by Terapanth Sabha, Rajnandgaon. When Sadhvishriji reached South Howrah on 27th January 2017, Lay followers from Rajnandgaon Sri Deepak Kothari, Sri Prem Choraria, Sri Raunak Kothari, Smt. Dipti Kothari and Smt. Sunita Choraria accompanied the Rasta Seva Group. Enthusiastically Involvement of all the shrawak sharawikas from Rajnandgaon was admirable. There are about 20 Houses of families of Jain Terapanth sect open and each one of the family was represented in the rasta Seva from Rajnandgaon to Kolkata.

At South Howrah Sadhvisri Guptiprabhaji and fellow Sadhvis were welcomed by Sadhvi Yashomatiji and fellow Sadhvis. Sadhvisri Yashomatiji came out of Terapanth Bhawan to Welcome Sadhvishri Guptiprabhaji and fellow Sadhvis. The scene of spiritual coming together of both the groups of Sadhvi’s was a warm picture where both the groups praised each other by way of chanting verse and Geetika. Hundreds of lay followers from Howrah and Kolkata and Rajnandgaon were really happy to witness the occasion. Sadhvi Kiranmala Ji, Sadhvi Rachnashri Ji, Sadhvi Shital Yasha ji and Sadhvi Jayant Yasha Ji expressed their spiritual pleasure on meeting Sadhvi Guptiprabhaji and their group after a long gap of more than 6 years. Sadhvi Kusum Lata ji, Sadhvi Maulik Yasha ji and Sadhvi Bhavit Yasha ji also expressed their pleasure on reaching Kolkata. Sadhvi Guptiprabha ji said that they are happy to be here and having obeyed the direction of Acharyashree Mahashramanji to reach Kolkata after a successful chaturmas 2016 at Rajnandgaon. We are also fortunate enough to have been welcomed by Ratnadhik Sadhvi Yashomati ji at the gateway of Kolkata. This type of warmth is seen only in Terapanth. Sadhvi Maulik Yasha ji was also warmly welcomed by sharawaks and shrawikas of South Howrah in her home town where she had been born and brought up in worldly life as a child. She was a proud student (Gyanarthi) of the South Howrah Gyanshala. Her worldly family - Sri Mahendra Dudhoria(Father), Smt. Nirmala dudhoria(Mother) and Sri Pankaj Dudhoria (Brother) were not less happy than others on seeing Sadhvi Maulik Yasha Ji at Howrah first time after diksha. Sri Pankaj Dudhoria also spoke on the occasion. Sri Sikharchand Lunawat, Sri Prakash Maloo, Sri Deepak Kothari, Sri mahendra dudhoria also welcomed Sadhvishriji. Eminent jain scholor Sri Srichand choraria was also present on the occasion.

At South Howrah Sadhvishriji stayed for about 23 Days. South Howrah Sabha team led by its President Sri Shikharchand Lunawat, Vice President Sri Sushil Giria, Secretary Sri Basant Patawari and others alongwith the lay followers from South Howrah and Greater Kolkata welcomed Sadhvishri at Terapanth Bhawan. Mahila Mandal and many others expressed their views to welcome Sadhvishri. During 23 days stay at South Howrah, Sadhvisriji covered many areas and apartments of South Howrah and guided the lay followers to be alert with enthusiasm to welcome H. H. Acharyashree Mahashramanji at Greater Kolkata.

On 25th January the stay of Sadhvisri Guptiprabhaji was at the at Dhulagarh Food park near Toll Plaza at the premises of Sri Bhanwarlal Baid, former president of Kolkata Sabha and South Kolkata sabha.

On 26th January (Independence Day) many members of TPF Kolkata came by bus from Kolkata to Dhulagarh for Darshan and on foot Seva of Sadhvi Guptiprabhaji. The team was led by Sri Prakash Maloo (National President), Sri Sushil Jain Choraria (Founder member of TPF NATIONAL and former secretary of KOLKATA SABHA), senior members Sri Jaichandlal Maloo and Sri Dharamchand Dharewa, Sri Rajkumar Kothari (President TPF Kolkata), Sri Rakesh Singhi(Secretary TPF KOL), Sri Dilip Maroti (Founder Vice-president-TPF Kolkata), Sri Ajay Bhansali, Sri Sumit Nahata, Sri Inderchand Dakalia, Sri Praveen Surana (VP-TPF Kolkata) Dr. V.S. Baid and many more. Few of the members walked 14 kms for the day’s journey.

During the 72 days of journey, Sadhvishriji covered many parts of Chhattisgarh, Orrisa, and West Bengal preaching the principles and teachings of Lord Mahavira, acharya Bhikshu and Acharya Mahasharmanji’s ongoing Ahimsa Yatra which shall reach Kolkata in June 2017 for Chaturmas.
