Auspicious Akshaya Tritiya was celebrated in the benign presence of His Holiness Acharya Mahashraman at Bhagalpur 70 Tapasvis of Varshitap (The Tapasya in which hermit keeps fasting (Upavas) on every alternate day for one year) reached in the holy feet of His Holiness for Parana of their one year fast. They offered the Sugarcane juice to His Holiness before breaking the fast. A huge number of lay followers were fortunate to witness this auspicious occasion. Mr. Hansraj Betala, President, Bhagalpur Prawaas Samiti handed over the flag (official responsibility of Ahimsa Yatra management) to Mr. Kamal Dugar, President, Acharya Mahashraman Chaturmas Vyavastha Samiti, Kolkata - 2018. They were blessed with Mangalpath by His Holiness.
His Holiness Acharya Mahashraman preached about some rules in the Prime Sermon on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya - there are some rules, pursuance of which are important during the period of practicing Varshitap for the Tapasvis of Varshitap who are further practicing this Tapasya -
