One of the most auspicious religious festivals is soon approaching from Monday, April 3rd through Tuesday, April 11th, 2017 which signifies the days of Ayambil Oli, where we have approximately 50 people doing the full 9 days of Ayambil Oli and about 125 to 150 people doing Ayambil on weekends.

Grocery purchases, cooking, serving and cleaning for the entire Oli days will be done by Jain Center volunteers and part-time hired help.
We encourage all members to come forward and sponsor this auspicious occasion. As per our policy, we shall try and accommodate as many sponsors as possible.

Shree Mahavir Janm Kalyanak Puja, Ekashana, Cultural Program - Apr 9, 2017 |

According to the lunar calendar, Bhagavan Mahavir was born on Chaitra Sud 13 which is exactly on April 9, 2017. We will celebrate the actual day with Snatrapuja, Mahavir Panch Kalyanak Puja, Asthprakari Puja, Aarti, Mangal Divo and Shanti Kalash in the morning and Cultural Program in the afternoon.
Shree Mahavir Janma Kalyanak will be celebrated at the Jain Center with its usual festivity and fervor on Sunday,April 9.
The Program will be as follows:

9:00 AM - 10:00 AM Snatra Puja (with a Nakro of $101)
10:00 AM - 12:30 PM Shree Mahavirswami Panch Kalyanka Puja (Total 5 Pujas. Each Puja with a nakro of $51).
Gheeboli will be conducted for Asthprakari Puja, Aarti, Mangal Divo and Shanti Kalash)
12:00 PM - 2:00 PM Ekasana
02:00 PM - 5:30 PM Children's Cultural Program and General Body Meeting
05:30 PM - 6:30 PM Swamivatsalya Dinner
Dinner will be served till 6:30 pm so that everyone can finish dinner before sunset and avoid Ratri Bhojan.

TCCOP - ACC will be collecting gently used, clean, Western Professional Clothes at JCSC on April 16, 2017. There will be a TCCOP table set up and they will be collecting all the clothing on that day.
NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT BRING CLOTHES ANY OTHER DAY NOR LEAVE THE CLOTHES ANYWHERE AT THE CENTER.
