That there is wide gap between thought and deed is an observation oft heard.

Generous advice is given to bring integrity between thoughts and deed.
Yet that does not happen.
Let us look for the reason for such a gap.
Why is there no integrity between thought and deed?
When feelings of attachment, aversion, arrogance, greed and prejudice are strong, how can there be integrity in thought and deed?

For such an integrity it is essential to proceed towards veetaraagataa: the path to conquer attachment and aversion.
